  • to instil confidence in pupils regarding their cultural identity – the basis of their development as citizens of Europe
  • to provide pupils with a sound all-round education based on a wide range of subjects from nursery through to university entrance
  • to attain proficiency both in one’s native language and in foreign languages
  • to promote knowledge in Mathematics and Natural Sciences throughout a pupil’s school career
  • to nurture a ‘global attitude’; this a focal point in Humanities lessons
  • to support creativity in Music and Performing Arts and to instil a cultural appreciation of European heritage
  • to develop talent in sport and to promote a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise and participation in sports events
  • to aid and support pupils in their subject choices; when pupils are in the higher secondary classes, experienced counsellors advise in matters of university entrance and careers guidance
